Dan & Alice is an improvised feature film; a romantic comedy road movie, currently in post-production. It is, at heart, indie cinema in its truest form - genuine, micro-budget, inventive, and character driven. It has much in common with the mumblecore subgenre of independent cinema, characterized by naturalistic acting and dialogue, low budget production, an emphasis on dialogue over plot, and a focus on the personal.

To best achieve this naturalistic feel, we really believe in improvisation, or at least fully improvised dialogue, and to prove it was possible to make the film this way, both to ourselves and to those we hoped would support our idea, we spent January 2017 shooting some key scenes from the film, as a proof-of-concept. Those sample scenes are still available to watch in the VIDEOS section of this site, although they have since been re-shot and newly improvised during shooting of the entire feature film in August and September of 2017.

Although principle photography has concluded, there is still some way to go before the film is complete, and we invite anyone interested in collaborating with us on Dan & Alice to please GET IN TOUCH to discuss further details. Alternatively, if you'd like to help us complete the film by contributing financially as we navigate the post-production process and beyond, and wish to donate, invest or sponsor - click the button below, or visit our DONATE page.
